Freshman Academic Scholarships

Academic scholarships are awarded on five levels ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 per year to qualified students. These renewable awards are based on a combination of the student’s ACT/SAT score and high school grade point average.
At Quincy University providing standardized test scores is optional. Applicants who wish to be considered under test-optional admission should send an essay or graded paper for review by the Admissions Committee. Test-optional applicants who are admitted will receive academic scholarship consideration based on their GPA and the number of core credits in high school.
Note: The amount of the academic scholarship you earn at the time of your admission to Quincy University is renewable, but will not increase should you achieve a higher GPA in a subsequent semester. Talk with your QU admissions counselor before sending your transcripts, test scores, and/or writing sample for more information.
